1. Q : What exactly does Display Marketing mean?
A : Display Marketing, also known as Business-to-Business or Direct Marketing,
means that we take the store to the Consumer. Through our network of
Distributors, we bring our books and products directly to the End-User. This way
Customers can see the products, examine them, and decide which ones they
need. With people’s busy schedules these days, Direct Marketing provides an
easy solution. What could be better than choosing a gift at one’s leisure, in one’s
place of business? We provide a "shop at work" solution. Once the Customer
has chosen their goods, the Distributor will return and fill the order. It is that simple!

2. Q : How does the consumer benefit?
Our titles are marketed at over 50% off the retail price. We are able to do this
by eliminating the usual wholesale and retail relationship. The next greatest
benefit of Display Marketing is convenience. The Customer may examine many
hand-picked, high-calibre titles and products at their place of employment,
without any high-pressured sales or overwhelming inventory to contend with.
This is something no common retailer can provide!

3. Q : What is the nature of your product line?
A : Our team of Buyers is able to access world-wide publishing opportunities,
which enables us to provide our Distributors with a wide array of innovative and
exciting books and non-book product, including giftware, stationery and
educational tools. Because of our strong North American distribution web and
the ability to make large-volume purchases, Select Publications has the buying
power necessary to bring you, the Distributor, the finest products which no one
else carries.
Approximately 30% of our books are educational titles, and make excellent tools
for teachers and parents concerned with their children’s guidance. Because of
our unique method of distribution, busy people can purchase the high-quality
learning resources they require while on-the-go. Some examples of our
educational materials include reference tools such as : dictionaries,
thesauruses, and historical and scientific encyclopedias.
We also carry many beautiful and unique gift books and products, do-it-yourself
guides for the home and garden, cookbooks, and general interest titles. In short,
we have something for everyone!

A : Our success, and your potential success, is due to the fact that we are able
to choose the best titles by testing the titles before they are introduced to the
public in a major way. Because we generally test at least 8-10 similar titles to
determine the most exciting book to sell, you can be confident that the titles you
distribute are the market favorites.

A : Yes, there are a few other Display Marketing companies in North America.
However, we like to think of ourselves as the Leaders, rather than the followers.

7. Q : Do I fit the profile of a Distributor?
A : If you :
• are able to lift 20 to 30 pounds;
• enjoy travel and fresh air;
• are naturally out-going;
• and have access to a small amount of storage space and a sport-utility
vehicle, truck or van; then you are definitely in the running. The most
important factor depends on whether or not you enjoy the work, and that
is something which you may determine during your training period.

8. Q : What do I do if I would like to join your team?
If you feel that this opportunity is right for you, please forward your resume
to our offices. Within a short period of time someone from our Management
team will be contacting you to complete an evaluation process and once selected to
make arrangements for you to become a Select distributor. Once you are part of our
team you will be guided through a comprehensive training process over
several weeks, and then you will begin to work independently. Generally, our
Distributors find that within a year they are consummate professionals in the
Display Marketing field!

9. Q : Will there be a legal contract involved in my commitment?
A : Yes. In order to protect both of us, we ask all our Distributors to sign a
contract valid for the length of their employment. We feel this is the best way
to protect you and ourselves. If you have any concerns regarding the contract,
please feel free to address them to our Management team.
